Truthful Tuesday

I don’t tend to geek out too much over “celebrities” but I do always get excited when (on the rare occasion that I actually do tweet at them) they respond. 90% of the time, this is Mike Nelson, Bill Corbett, or Kevin Murphy. They’ve always been super cool, and one time Mike, Kevin, and I even had a brief back and forth about “We Didn’t Start The Fire”, but today, Mike actually responded and called me by name, and that’s super neat (yes, I know my name is on my twitter account, just let me have this). Someday I will eat bacon with that man.

I have a cool “The Room” related story

Yesterday, I was waiting for my shift to end, and there was nothing else to do. My coworker also had nothing to do, and says “you wanna go throw the football?!” and I started laughing. I felt bad because his feelings seemed hurt, and there was really no way I was explaining it, so I just threw the football around with him for a while.

Here’s a sad sad story So, I bought this beer yesterday, because I had never heard of it before, and I’m always up for trying a new beer. Fast forward to tonight, and I’m sitting here, having a few beers, and after a while, I notice that I’m not really feeling much. After 4 IPA’s I figure I should be noticing it, so I look for the ABV. It’s not printed on the bottle or pack anywhere, which I find odd for an IPA. I get online, and google it. Not only do I find out that it has a disappointing 6.3 ABV, I also find (even more disappointingly) that it’s brewed by Genesee. If you’re not familiar, then let me tell you that it’s probably the worst beer I’ve ever had. I’m now very displeased, and almost done with my 6-pack. Zoom
